Mr.
Peter PETERSEN, an economist with more than 45 years of professional
experience, started his career in 1960 and worked for various
private companies in senior commercial/financial management positions
for 24 years - including 13 years abroad (Nigeria, Iran, USA and
Belgium).
Since 1985 Mr. PETERSEN worked as financial/commercial consultant
in donor funded projects (KFW, World Bank) in Sub-Sahara Africa
(Swaziland, Lesotho, Zambia, Ethopia, Uganda and Nigeria) and
CIS countries (Poland, Mongolia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Russia).

of ailing parastatals/institutions/companies in developing countries.

the last ten years he has worked successfully in various water
projects in Africa with the ultimate target to improve their revenue
in order to achieve financial sustainability.
In
recent years institutional development and due diligence analysis
in connection with privatisation have become increasingly important
aspects of his work.
