Mr.
Friedrich Holzmann is a graduate Water Engineer with 13 years
of experience as a consultant for international water projects.
His key qualifications are within the field of institutional strengthening
and restructuring of water utilities in developing countries.
As a consultant he has been involved in preparation of several
PSP-Projects (Haiti, Honduras, Guatemala, Uganda).
As director of "international services" within Linz AG, an Austrian
multi-utility service provider, he gained management experience
in different levels of operation as well as in controlling, billing
and information systems. He was Project Director for an institutional
strengthening project and a water and sanitation project in Albania.
As managing director for IW WABAG, a joint venture company between
VATECH WABAG (a leading company in the field of construction and
operation of water and wastewater treatment plants), Linz AG,
and Raiffeisen Landesbank he was responsible for business development,
focusing on CEE countries. Several Management contracts in Kavaja/Albania,
Gjakove-Rahovec/Kosovo, Dushanbe/Tajikistan, Bursa/Turkey, Gera/Germany
and Concession or Lease Contracts in Constanta/Romania, Sebes/Romania
and Slovakia have been developed.
His experience, gained from both the client's and the operator's
side, enables him to provide professional advice in the field
of water utility management and performance based management contracts.
Moreover, he is able to provide a broad spectrum of know-how from
O&M to commercial fields.
